For our summer league, DYS participates in the 14U, 12U, and 10U Divisions of the South Shore Summer Softball League ("Summer League"). The Summer League is a collective of 17 participating towns in Massachusetts, and it has its own rules and strict guidelines.
The Summer League is organized into divisions based on USA Softball Age (Click for Calculator) and teams are created based on player skill level.
Registration is now open for the 2025 Summer League. DYS will participates in the South Shore Summer Softball League, competing in the 10U, 12U, and 14U divisions against teams from 17 neighboring towns. This is a different league than our Spring and Fall seasons. Find more information, details, and key dates here.
Team Formation > Per Summer League requirements, teams will be formed based on each player’s USA Softball Age and assessed skill level to ensure fair, competitive play.

Important: Registration closes Friday, May 16. Late registrations can not be accepted due to strict league regulations and timelines.
